If your little darling wears a tiara around the house and has been known to wish on every star, it may be time to throw her a majestic princess birthday party. Whether she’s enamored with a certain fairy-tale princess or has been begging to wear something pink and sparkly, you can bet she and her maidens will love this afternoon of enchantment.

The Royal Treatment
- Send each guest a sparkly magic wand with a scroll invitation attached by ribbon. On the scroll, write the details for the event: e.g., at The Royal Palace of 123 Main Street … by the request of Her Most Noble and Royal Princess (insert name here). Ask each princess to bring her wand and wear an outfit fitting of her kingdom.
- Roll out the pink carpet with a runner or fabric up to your door, leading to an archway of balloons or streamers.
- Announce each girl when she enters the magic domain. Be sure to ask if she would like to be called by her princess name.
- Have extra tulle, tutus, sashes and play dresses on hand for guests who forgot outfits or need a little bedazzling.
Mirror, Mirror
- Set a big mirror on a table with glitter makeup, pink hairspray, vibrant eye shadows, etc. and let the girls play dress-up! Have a pink carpet parade when everyone has been transformed.
- Turn an armchair into a throne using fabric, tulle, balloons and extra pillows. Give each girl a photo op on the throne, then send the photos with a thank-you note.
- Buy some plastic wine glasses that each girl can decorate with markers, sticky gems and ribbons to create a Goblet of Goodness. Use these for royal toasts while they sip their raspberry lemonade and eat princess cake.
- Since today’s princesses don’t really need saving, allow them to slay a dragon piñata all by themselves—no prince required.
- Send each of the maidens home with a taffeta pouch of Pink Powder Puff Crunch, which can be placed in her clean Goblet of Goodness.
