1Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with cooking parchment paper.
2In medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar with electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beating well. Beat in flour mixture until blended. Stir in oats. Fold in walnuts and dried pear. Onto cookie sheets, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart.
3Bake 12 minutes or until brown around edges. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
