I have used white cake mix with a can of Diet 7up.. Zero calories, along with the recommended eggs. NO OIL... bake until done. The moistest texture of any cupcake with oil. Also, if you replace the oil with applesauce, you cut down on the fats in the cupcake. The topping, sugar free candy bar's--- microwaved until melted, and then spoon over top. This was great information. I wonder how the cupcake texture would work if they substituted applesauce in place of the fat. If anyone has tried this let me know i'm interested in knowing how it works out. Also, does it change the flavor of the cake.
