How to Make a French Toast Martini

Posted By Angie McGowan
July 15, 2012

Jump start your next brunch with friends by serving fun and easy cocktails that taste just like French toast!

There’s a new trend emerging in cocktails that I am thrilled to share with you today. It’s breakfast-flavored cocktails! These adult beverages are so much fun to offer at brunches or anytime when you want a sweet dessert drink. They are super simple to assemble, too.

To make a French Toast Martini, start by placing about 2 cups of ice in a martini shaker.

Add a shot of Irish cream liqueur...

a shot of sweet butterscotch schnapps...

and a shot of cinnamon schnapps. (The cinnamon liqueur is what makes the martini taste like rich cinnamon French toast.)

Put the lid on your shaker, and give it a good shake.

Rim the martini glass with brown sugar. The easiest way to do this is to first dip the martini glass in water. (You can also use corn syrup.)

Dip the glass in brown sugar until the rim is evenly coated.

Now you have a wonderful sugar-rimmed martini glass!

Strain the martini into the glass.
