Slicing an avocado for guacamole can be intimidating if you don’t know how to do it. They don’t call the avocado the “Alligator Pear” for nothing. Its rough looking exterior makes most people unwilling to wrestle with it.
If you have a ripe avocado and a sharp knife you will surely be the victor. Just follow my step-by-step instructions. You’ll be serving up a winning Mexican treat in no time.
1) Begin with a ripe avocado. Pick one that has a little give to it. It shouldn't be too soft or too hard but "just right"!
