30-Minute Pizza Pasta Bake

Posted By Angie McGowan
June 09, 2012

Add pizzazz to pizza night by serving a pizza-flavored pasta casserole instead!

Pizza is something my family can’t get enough of. We have pizza night almost every week, but sometimes I can get tired of it. That’s when I like to change it up a bit and serve a dish that has all the flavors we love about pizza but in another form, like pasta.

This is such a quick and easy recipe, one that I love to cook on busy nights. For this pasta, I add all my favorite pizza toppings, like fresh basil, Italian sausage, olives, green peppers and onions. Make it your own with whatever ingredients you like. There are endless possibilites!

To get this pasta bake started, I cook the noodles according to package directions. While that’s cooking, I sauté my Italian sausage, onions and green peppers. They’ll both take about 10 minutes to cook.
