These decadent brownies combine a delicious new flavor trend—vanilla bean, chocolate and salted caramel—for one amazing dessert!
My family can’t get enough of freshly made, rich chocolate brownies. Whether it’s how I bake them or what other flavors I add to them, I’m always trying new ways to change up ordinary brownies. For this recipe, I wanted to combine a few flavors: a rich vanilla bean cheesecake swirl and a salted caramel topping.
I started with a box of Betty Crocker® Ultimate Fudge Brownie mix. This makes the brownies super fudgy. If you want a more cake-like brownie, use Betty Crocker original supreme brownie mix. After I mixed the batter and spread it in the baking pan, I mixed the ingredients for the cheesecake swirl and spooned it over the brownie batter. Cut the cheesecake mixture into the chocolate a bit before baking.
Top the brownies with the caramel sauce and sea salt; cut into squares. These brownies are best served warm. They are ooey-gooey and delicious!
