Gone Fishin' Cookies
In honor of the opening fishing weekend, in Wisconsin, I showed grandson Blake and Finn how to make cookies with fish-shaped pretzels on them.

Blake helped me stir up the dough and form the cookies on the cookie sheet. We decided to push the little fish onto the tops of our cookies, instead of stirring them into the dough.

Here are our cookies, warm from the oven. Our recipe was similar to a chocolate chip cookie dough only instead of the semi-sweet chocolate chips, this reicpe calls for white baking chips, honey-roasted peanuts and the fish-shaped pretzels in the dough.

We couldn't wait to take a bite of these salty-sweet cookies.

Almost two-year old Finn, liked eating the cookies more than making the dough.

We baked a second batch of these cookies and brought them to our friend, Georgia, "up north."
