Cinnamon Bun Waffles are simple way to start the day. It’s a warm, toasty waffle with all the flavor of a cinnamon bun.
On weekends, I like to make big breakfasts for my family. Unlike other days, we are not rushing around on Saturday mornings, so I have time to make something a little more substantial than a bowl of cereal. Cereal is great, but there is nothing more comforting than a warm waffle with sausage and bacon to start the day!
I like to take my favorite waffle recipe and alter it to make different flavors. I’ll add blueberries, lemon and raspberry, or spicy apple pieces. But this cinnamon bun version is by far the most-requested version. It can be served with maple syrup, but the glaze really makes this waffle special. I promise this recipe will make you a very popular person at your house!

I freeze the leftovers, and reheat them in the oven during the week. They are just as delicious with maple syrup.
