Brownie Batter Waffles

Posted By Angie McGowan
September 16, 2012

Try brownies made in the waffle iron for a quick chocolate treat ay time of day!

Brownies are one of my favorite go-to chocolate treats. I love them so much because of how versatile they are. You can add any type of nuts you like to them or top them with caramel sauce, cream cheese icing or just powdered sugar. You can make brownie shots, brownie pops, brownie bars...the list goes on and on! You can even cook them in different ways, too, like in waffle iron.

For these waffles, I took a box of Betty Crocker® Walnut Brownie Mix and added more eggs and oil to make a rich batter perfect for waffles. Prepare them the same way as regular waffles. They cook up in no time at all.

These make an amazing breakfast treat! You could also make these for dessert. For each serving, top one-fourth of a brownie waffle with whipped cream and fresh berries.

Blogger Angie McGowan of Eclectic Recipes shares a fun breakfast idea for brownie lovers.
