Moisten or coat a food by plunging below the surface of a liquid. Some foods may need to be turned for complete coverage.
Dip one-third to one-half of each cookie into one type of melted chocolate at a time. Place on waxed paper between dippings until chocolate is firm. Double-Dip cookies by dipping a single-dipped cookie into a second chocolate (after first chocolate is firm), leaving 1/4 inch of first chocolate showing. Or rotate cookie, and dip a cookie portion not previously dipped. Triple-Dip cookies by dipping each cookie 1/2 inch deep along one edge into chocolate. After first chocolate is firm, rotate cookies and repeat dipping for each type of chocolate desired.
