Squid
Squid, also called calamari, is related to the octopus and cuttlefish. Squid can be as small as 1 inch and up to many feet. Squid meat is midly flavored with a firm and chewy texture.
How to Buy
Buy fresh squid that are small and whole and have clear eyes and a fresh odor. HOW TO PREPARE Squid can be panfried, baked, broiled, stir-fried, and battered and fried.
How to Store
Refrigerate squid airtight for 1 or 2 days.
