Also called custard apple, this heart-shaped fruit has thin green skin that resembles a closed pine cone. The pulp is creamy white with large black almond-shaped seeds and a sweet custard taste.

Select firm fruit.
How to Store
Ripen at room temperature until fruit yields to gentle pressure, then refrigerate.
How to Serve
Serve cherimoyas chilled. Cut in half, remove the seeds and scoop out the pulp.
