An appliance used to puree, chop, grate, slice and shred foods. Consists of a bowl placed on a motorized drive shaft. An S-shaped blade on the bottom of the bowl processes food, which can be fed into the bowl through an opening or tube on top. Some models can be fitted as a juicer and/or pasta maker.
