Made this twice. The first time using the original recipe, I found it to be very bland and dry (used fat free hot dogs, was probably part of the problem). The second time I dumped Parmesan cheese into the dough mix (about 1/3 cup)and after rolling out the dough, pressed some mini pepperoni into the strips before rolling the hot dogs up. (just make sure to leave enough dough showing to stick to the hot dog :-) These were MUCH better, and the bread was not so crumbly and dry.

Know whats even better? Wrapping them with crescent rolls. :) Get Nathan's hot dogs (smaller size!) and and 1 or 2 things of crescent rolls. Each crescent "slice" can be used to wrap the hotdog. I personally prefer half the crescent instead. :)
