Brooke McLay Recipe by Brooke McLay
March 5, 2012

Ingredients

6
cups clean fresh-fallen snow
1/2
cup sugar
1/2
to 3/4 cup whipping cream
2
tablespoons strawberry syrup or 1/4 teaspoon strawberry candy flavoring
Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors candy sprinkles, if desired

Directions

  • 1 Gather snow in large bowl. Sprinkle with sugar, then drizzle with whipping cream, stirring to mix and adding just enough cream to make an ice cream-like consistency. Add strawberry syrup; stir until blended.
  • 2 Scoop snow cream into 2 small bowls or paper cups. Garnish with sprinkles. Serve with a spoon.

Expert Tips

Make it vanilla! Substitute 1/2 teaspoon vanilla for the strawberry syrup or flavoring.

Don’t have snow? Blend a few cups of small pieces of ice with the whipping cream and syrup in your blender for a slushy snow cream-inspired treat!
