cups boiling water

cup uncooked bulgur

medium pears, peeled and coarsely chopped (about 2 cups)

cup raisins
1/4
cup orange juice

tablespoons packed brown sugar

teaspoon ground cinnamon
  1. Pour boiling water over bulgur in medium bowl; let stand 1 hour. Drain any remaining water from bulgur; cool 15 minutes.
  2. Mix bulgur, pears and raisins in large bowl.
  3. Shake orange juice, brown sugar and cinnamon in tightly covered container. Pour over bulgur mixture; toss to mix. Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours to blend flavors.
