Ingredients

6: cups popped popcorn

2: cups Golden Grahams® cereal

1/2: cup butter

1 1/2: cups packed brown sugar

1/4: cup light corn syrup

1/2: teaspoon salt

1/4: teaspoon baking soda

1/2: teaspoon vanilla

2: cups miniature marshmallows

2: cups miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

1 Heat oven to 250°F. In 13x9- or 15x10-inch pan, toss popcorn and cereal; set aside.
2 In large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Heat to boiling; boil 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat; stir in baking soda and vanilla (be careful; mixture will foam). Pour over popcorn mixture; stir until well coated.
3 Bake uncovered 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
4 Sprinkle marshmallows over popcorn mixture. Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until marshmallows start to turn golden brown. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top and stir (mixture will be a bit gooey). Cool completely.

As a time-saver, purchase caramel corn, stir in Golden Grahams® cereal, top with marshmallows and continue as directed.

Print out bag toppers, place individual servings of popcorn in small plastic or cellophane bags and staple a topper on each bag.

Ok, my first bacth of smores popcorn is made - I used a bit more popcorn than the recipe called for and only 1 cup of chocolate chips(instead of 2) - those are the tweaks I made and am happy with .. .. .. great snack!
