Slow cookers vary. Keep an eye on your bread while it's baking so it does not get overdone. Use a slow cooker with a white ceramic base for best results.
Different slow cookers can take longer for the bread to cook. If you use a 4 1/2-quart round cooker, cooking time will increase to 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours. Crust may be darker due to longer cooking time.
