potato, unpeeled, cut into 1-inch pieces

cup chopped onion

teaspoon salt

teaspoon pepper

can (16 ounces) baked beans in barbecue sauce
  • 1 In 2 1/2- to 3 1/2-quart slow cooker, mix beef, potato, onion, salt and pepper. Spread beans over beef mixture.
  • 2 Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours or until beef is tender.

Great tasting recipe. I actually used some deer meat and added beef broth and it was fabulous.

I tried to make this dish yesterday. I followed the recipe and set up the crock pot. In less than 8 hrs, it was burned. I made it for my husband since i was going to be working real late. He didnt have the heart to tell me it burnt before he even got home.
