I had a large bone from an Easter Ham leftover with a lot of meat on it....removed all the glazed skin with a knife so no trace of sweetness would be in the soup,it sure deserves a 10+ I used the slow cooker to make it.

This is our family's favorite. It is easy to make and we always let it rest overnight before we eat it.

This is the BEST bean soup I have ever had. In fact, my stepdaughter whos "hates" bean soup, this is the only one she will eat. You can add a little diced carrots to this if you want, or leave out the mashed potatoes is you don't want it as thick, it's just great to eat.
