Slice fresh mushrooms the fast and easy way - with a hard-cooked egg slicer. Look for one at grocery stores, specialty cookware stores or in the cookware sections at department stores.
For 3 grams of fat and 55 calories per serving, omit oil and decrease butter to 1 tablespoon; use nonstick skillet.
Substitute 2 packages (8 oz each) whole mushrooms (about 3 cups) for the sliced mushrooms. Cook as directed except increase cooking time in step 2 to 4 to 8 minutes
