cup butter or margarine, softened

cup packed brown sugar

teaspoons vanilla

cups Original Bisquick® mix

cup semisweet chocolate chips (6 oz)

cup chopped nuts, if desired
  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, vanilla and egg. Stir in Bisquick mix, chocolate chips and nuts.
  • 2 Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart; flatten slightly.
  • 3 Bake about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.

These came out great! I made chocolate chip-cherry cookies. The only thing I changed was to use 1/2 sugar and 1/2 brown sugar. My dough seemed really dry and crumbly, but easily rolled into balls.I also made my cookies fairly large, so next time I'll double the recipe. This is definitely a keeper and so much quicker than making chocolate chip cookies completely from scratch!

these were all right. i would definitely flatten them before cooking but a cookie is a cookie no matter what shape or form!! They were a little dry, nothing milk can't fix.

I started with this recipe and then made adjustments using Gluten Free Bisquick. Here's the final recipe: 1 C butter, softened 1 1/2 C packed brown sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 eggs 1 package of Gluten Free Bisquick 1 C semisweekt chocolate chips 1/2 C chopped nuts if desired. They were a huge success.
