This classic French pork cassoulet tastes great and is ready to serve in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

1/2
pound pork boneless loin, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1
medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1/4
teaspoon garlic powder
1/2
pound fully cooked kielbasa sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
1
can (14 1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes, undrained
1/4
cup chili sauce or ketchup
1
tablespoon chopped fresh or 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1
cup frozen cut green beans
1
can (15 to 16 ounces) great northern beans, drained
2
tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  • 1 Spray 12-inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium heat. Cook pork, onion and garlic powder in skillet 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pork is brown.
  • 2 Stir in kielbasa, tomatoes, chili sauce, thyme and frozen green beans. Heat to boiling over medium heat. Cover and boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 Stir in great northern beans. Cover and cook 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until green beans are tender. Sprinkle with parsley.

Expert Tips

For speedier preparation at dinner time, cut the meats and onion the evening before or in the morning; wrap tightly and refrigerate until needed.
