You'll know how to hold them (how to snack on them!) when you use edible markers to create this fun poker night treat.

Bree Hester Recipe by Bree Hester
August 7, 2012

Ingredients

1
bag (16 oz) white candy melts or coating wafers
2
tablespoons vegetable oil
24
creme-filled vanilla sandwich cookies
2
tablespoons light corn syrup
1/4
cup gold decorator sugar crystals
Edible markers

Directions

  • 1 Line cookie sheet with waxed paper.
  • 2 Melt candy melts as directed on bag. Stir in oil.
  • 3 Dip sandwich cookies into melted candy mixture. Let excess drip off; place on cookie sheet. Let stand until candy is firm, about 20 minutes.
  • 4 Using paint brush, brush corn syrup around edge of each cookie. Roll edges in sugar crystals.
  • 5 With edible markers, draw numbers on cookies to resemble poker chips. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Expert Tips

Substitute chocolate sandwich cookies for vanilla if you like.

Have more time? Use royal icing tinted different colors to draw the numbers on the chips.
