Eating Smart
Mocha fans, beware: A large mocha topped with whipped cream can contain as many as 400 calories and 25 fat grams! You can easily reduce fat and calories without sacrificing taste by switching to plain coffee and adding a packet of sugar-free hot cocoa mix. Or downsize to a regular latte made with fat-free milk.
Staying Active
True or false? Lifting weights turns fat into muscle. False. Fat and muscle tissue are distinctly different. Weight training increases your muscle tissue. Although more muscle means a faster metabolism, the best way to burn fat is through aerobic exercise.
