Expert Tips

"My grandmother happened to be German and she had the biggest sweet tooth of anyone I have ever known. She especially loved cookies. Every time I would visit, she always had a German Chocolate cake waiting for my arrival. I came up with this recipe for my love of my Oma and memories of her German Chocolate cake. If she were still with us, I know she would love these cookies!" Doreen Howarth

They didn't have oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix at the store so I used the oatmeal cookie mix and added about 1 cup chocolate chips. I also made the cookies about half the size & sandwiched 2 of the cookies together with the frosting.
