pouch Betty Crocker® pumpkin spice cookie mix
1
cup butter or margarine, melted
3
eggs
1
cup Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy cream cheese frosting (from 1-lb container)
1/2
cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom only of 9-inch square pan with cooking spray. In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and eggs until well blended. Spread in pan.
  • 2 Bake 33 to 38 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  • 3 Spread with frosting. Sprinkle with walnuts. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.

I MADE THESE BARS AND THEY ARE WONDERFUL. I ADDED SOME RAISINS, CINNAMON CHIPS AND PUMPKIN PIE SPICE. THEY ARE SO YUMMY ;)

After reading the reviews, I decided just to make the regular cookie recipe and chilled it, then pressed it in an 8x8 pan. I baked it at 350 for 25 minutes and topped it with a cinnamon glaze. Seemed to work out pretty well.

I make these cookies, the pumpkin spice mix,I and can no longer find it in the stores. Does this mix only come out for the Holiday? I love these cookies!!!!
