My husband and I both really liked this salad. I don't know Mediteranean food so don't know the difference as one reviewer commented this wasn't a real mediterranean salad. It was great nontheless and worth a try. Connie

I took this salad to a Sunday family lunch and everyone loved it! I did, however, substitute the ripe olives for kalamata olives and left out the bacon. I also suggest waiting until half an hour or so before serving to add the dressing as the lettuce can get soggy after a while.
