Maple-Brushed Bacon

The only thing better than a platter of bacon is one that's been delicately brushed with pure maple syrup before baking.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz thick-sliced bacon (10 slices)
  • 4 tablespoons real maple syrup

Steps

    Heat oven to 375°F. Place cooling rack in 17x11-inch baking pan with sides. Spray with cooking spray.

    Place bacon slices on rack (use 2 pans if necessary).
  • 3
    Bake 10 minutes. Brush with half of the syrup. Bake 10 minutes longer. Turn bacon; brush with remaining 2 tablespoons syrup. Bake 10 minutes longer.
