  • 1 In tightly covered container, shake oil, wine, honey and orange juice until well blended.
  • 2 On individual salad plates, arrange oranges, grapefruit and jicama (or mix in large bowl). Serve with dressing.

Jicama is a root vegetable with crunchy texture much like a raw potato, but the flavor is sweet and nutty.

The brown skin of a jicama comes off easily with a vegetable peeler.
