PREP TIME 30 minutes
TOTAL TIME 1 hour 15 minutes
SERVINGS 8

2: cups scalded milk

1: cup granulated sugar

1/2: cup bisquick

4: eggs beaten

1: teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4: cup melted margarine

1/2: cup coconut (optional)

Save $$$ on your favorite brands

1 scald milk and let cool to room temperature
2 in blender add ingredients in order listed after milk is not boiling hot so that eggs do not cook. blend 3-4 minutes
3 pour mixture into a greased 10 inch pie pan
4 Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.

This is a very good and easy dessert. I have made it for years. I substitute 1 c. evaporated milk plus 1 c. water for the scalded milk. I like the flavour. it is less expensive and it makes the process so much easier than scalding the milk. Anyhow, I think that scalding milk goes back to the days when milk was not pasteurized.
