quart (4 cups) fresh strawberries

cup powdered sugar

cup orange-flavored liqueur or orange juice

quart strawberry or vanilla ice cream
  1. Cut strawberries in half; place in large bowl. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and liqueur; stir gently. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours.
  2. Spoon strawberries over ice cream.
