I came across this recipe and thought it sounded yummy and it looked pretty simple to make. I decided to give it a try, and I loved them!!! I made a whole bunch of them as Christmas presents for my friends, and they couldn't stop talking about how great they were. Some of them told me that they were the best cookies they had ever eaten!

I really enjoyed these cookies, but found that some of the ingredients were rather hard to find. I went to 4-5 different grocery store chains before I was able to find the mix, and I ended up calling around to find the hazelnut syrup. They aren't very "hazelnutty", but I feel that the hazelnut syrup was definitely needed to cut down the bitterness of the coffee. They were really easy to make, but did have to cool for a bit because the chocolate on the bean started to melt almost immediately. I would definitely make them again.

Made 2 batches for a huge family Christmas dinner. Not one returned home. Used chocolate covered beans also. They take some time to cool but worth it. Easy and Absolutely delicious!!!
