ears corn with husks

tablespoon Old El Paso® taco seasoning mix (from 1-oz package) or lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 1 Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat.
  • 2 Mix butter and taco seasoning mix. Carefully pull back husk of each ear of corn; remove silk. Spread butter mixture over corn. Pull husks back over ears; tie husks securely with thin piece of husk or string.
  • 3 Cover and grill corn 4 to 5 inches from medium heat 20 to 30 minutes, turning frequently, until tender.

Expert Tips

Grilling adds a smoky flavor to these cobs of corn, but you can get similar results by cooking corn on the stove-top. Spread the seasoned butter on the corn just before serving.

Fresh is best! When the season’s right, purchase corn from a farmers’ market.

The corn turned out great. Sooooo tasty, but the husk caught on fire so i had somewhat of a mess at the table. Made them at the camp so all was good.
