Directions

  • 1 Spread 4 slices of bread with peanut butter. Slice bananas; arrange on peanut butter. Top with remaining slices of bread to make 4 sandwiches. Spread top bread slice of each sandwich with about 1 teaspoon butter.
  • 2 Place sandwiches, butter sides down, in skillet. Spread top bread slices with remaining butter. Cook uncovered over medium heat about 4 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown. Turn; cook 2 to 3 minutes longer or until bottoms are golden brown and peanut butter is melted.

Expert Tips

Yummy! Warm, creamy peanut butter and bananas are tucked between slices of crispy bread. Peanut butter is a good source of protein, but if allergies are a problem, just substitute another type of nut butter like almond or cashew.
