Betty Crocker's Heart Healthy Cookbook shares a recipe! Cranberries and pecans add a sweet flavor to this no-mess carrot side - ready in 10 minutes.
box (10 ounces) frozen honey glazed sliced carrots
tablespoons dried cranberries
tablespoons chopped pecans or walnuts
Cook carrots as directed on package. Stir in cranberries and pecans.
Combine exercise with good deeds by offering to run errands for those who can’t get out. Walk to the supermarket to pick up their groceries, or pick up their packages at the post office. Helping to maintain a neighbor’s yard or shoveling snow are other ways to burn calories while lending a hand.
