cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour

  1. Heat oven to 350┬║ F. Grease bottoms only of 2 loaf pans, 8x4 inches, with shortening. In large bowl, mix pears, sugar, oil, gingerroot and eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients until well blended. Pour into pans.
  2. Bake 60 to 65 minutes or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour, before slicing.
Makes 2 loaves (12 slices each)
