Stewed Apples

cup packed brown sugar

medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced thin

cups Original Bisquick® mix

cups eggnog

teaspoon ground nutmeg
  1. In 3-quart saucepan, heat water, brown sugar and cinnamon over medium-high heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved and mixture begins to boil. Reduce heat, and add apples. Cook uncovered about 20 minutes or until apples are softened.
  2. Stir together pancake ingredients until blended. Pour slightly less than 1/4 cupfuls batter onto hot greased griddle. Cook until edges are dry. Turn; cook until golden.
