Looking for seafood based dinner idea for two? Then check out this dilled halibut steaks recipe that’s ready in just 30 minutes!
lb halibut steaks (1 inch thick), cut into 2 serving pieces
sprigs dill weed
lemon slices (1/4 inch thick)
tablespoons dry white wine or nonalcoholic white wine
Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Pat fish dry with paper towels; place in baking dish.
Sprinkle fish with salt. Place dill weed sprig and lemon slice on each fish piece. Pour wine over fish.
Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
Fresh dill nicely complements the halibut, but other fresh herbs, like tarragon or basil, would be good choices, too.
