Candy coating is designed to be easier to work with than chocolate - to melt smoothly for dipping and to dry hard and glossy. Melt candy coating over low heat to prevent it from scorching and hardening.
Use a paring knife to cut the tiny pretzel twists into three curved pieces. Use the remaining center pieces for the antennae.
To melt candy coating in the microwave, follow the directions printed on the package.
