cups Cheerios® cereal

cups trail mix (seeds, nuts and dried fruits)
1/4
cup butter or margarine
1
cup packed brown sugar

tablespoons Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1/2
cup light corn syrup
  • 1 Grease 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray. In large bowl, mix cereal and trail mix; set aside.
  • 2 In 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, flour and corn syrup. Cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a full boil. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • 3 Pour mixture evenly over cereal mixture; toss to coat. Press mixture in pan. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Cut into 6 rows by 6 rows.

Love these! Another great recipe with endless possibilities... for changing it up. My kids love imagining what we can throw in them next! Cool classroom treat too - kinda healthy alternative to the usual cupcakes, cookies, and candy!

I made this for a camping trip and it was SOOOO GOOD! I would recommend this to anyone. I had craisons and mixed peanuts that I put in mine. You really could do this with anything!
