cups Whole Grain Total® or Total® Honey Clusters® cereal

eggs or 1/2 cup fat-free egg product

cup orange juice

slices (1 inch thick) whole-grain or regular French bread
  • 1 Place cereal in resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag and crush with rolling pin or meat mallet. Place crushed cereal in shallow bowl; set aside. In medium bowl, beat eggs, orange juice and salt with wire whisk until well blended.
  • 2 Spray griddle or 12-inch skillet with cooking spray; heat to 350°F or over medium heat. Dip each slice of bread into egg mixture, turning to coat both sides; coat with cereal. Place on griddle; cook 4 to 6 minutes, turning once, until golden brown on both sides.

I made this for breakfast this morning and we thought it was okay. my boyfriend thought it reminded him of something from the caribbean and should be something to eat when it is warm out. We both agreed that it isn't worth making again and that we both thought it was okay but we like regular french toast better.
