Use a flat-bottomed glass to make easy work of pressing the crumbs in the pie plate.
You can make all of the components (except the bananas and Topping) 2 days ahead of time. To prevent the crust from becoming soggy, keep each component separate until the day you plan to serve the pie. Just be sure to place plastic wrap directly on the surface of the pudding while it refrigerates.
Placing plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the pudding prevents the dreaded pudding skin from forming.
