cup Wheat Chex® cereal

cup Honey Nut Cheerios® cereal

cup toasted sliced almonds

cup dried banana chips
1/4
cup dried blueberries or raisins
  • 1 In small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  • 2 In medium microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in cereals and almonds until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.
  • 3 Stir in sugar mixture and banana chips until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 1 minute. Spread on paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes. Place in serving bowl; stir in blueberries. Store in airtight container.

i love this and have made it dozen times. sometimes i add blueberry and i put the nuts in with the butter and sugar to melt. then continue as directed. this is addictive.

My boys and I love this. We use cashews and cranberries instead of blueberries and almonds but it is a good snack or breakfast on the go.

Next time I will cut the sugar & cinnamon by half, and I'll decrease the microwave times to about 45 seconds instead - some of my Cheerios burnt.
