Every dinner tastes better when cheesy garlic bread is on the menu. This flavorful loaf, prepped in just 10 minutes, gets a boost from Land O Lakes Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt.

Ingredients

1/2
cup Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt, softened
3
cloves garlic, finely chopped
1
teaspoon dried oregano leaves
Pepper to taste
2
cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
1
loaf (1 lb) French bread

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. In medium bowl, mix butter, garlic, oregano and pepper until thoroughly combined. Stir in cheese.
  • 2 Cut loaf of bread in half horizontally. Spread butter mixture over bottom half of bread; cover with top half. Wrap loaf tightly in foil.
  • 3 Bake 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is warmed through. Cut into slices to serve.

Expert Tips

You’ll want to make sure the garlic is very finely chopped for this recipe. A Microplane® grater works well for finely grating garlic.

If you don’t like garlic, you can omit it and add your favorite herb instead.
