cans (18.5 oz each) Progresso® Traditional potato with broccoli & cheese chowder

cup cubed cooked chicken breast

cup diced cooked ham
1
cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
  • 1 In 3-quart saucepan, heat soup, chicken and ham over medium-high heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 2 Slowly stir in cheese. Cook about 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until cheese is melted.

Expert Tips

Leftover chopped rotisserie chicken works well for the cubed chicken breast.

Switch out the meats and cheese to come up with a delicious new creation every time.

The DASH diet recommends 2000 mg of sodium per day for a heart healthy diet. This recipe contains 1620 mg of sodium in one serving - definitely not heart healthy. alternative - get rid of the progresso soup and use fresh ingredients.
