Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick cookie sheets). In large bowl, mix cake mix, melted butter and egg with spoon until soft dough forms.
  • 2
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. In small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll balls in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Discard any remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  • 3
Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until edges are set. Cool 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Store covered at room temperature.

  • Use a cookie scoop to make portioning cookie dough and shaping into balls more consistent, and to bake more evenly.
  • Cookies turn out best when baked one cookie sheet at a time on middle oven rack.
  • Oven times may vary so watch your cookies closely to not overbake.
