Want a little more zing? Add about 1/4 cup chopped pickled okra to the bean mixture. Make an easy side dish by using a box or packet of Spanish rice mix.

I was searching for a recipe that used kidney beans, since I had a ton of them in my cupboard. This recipe was great and I already had all the ingredients! I did use italian spiced breadcrumbs and olive oil. It was delicious! I would pair this with a cool side dish, since it is a bit spicy. Will deifnitely make again! Another suggestion would be to use these with lettuce wraps.
