Twenty minutes and two-steps is all it takes to prepare this Caeser dressed green beans side dish recipe.
pound green beans (3 cups)
cup Caesar dressing
tablespoons dried cranberries
Heat water to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Add beans. Heat to boiling. Boil uncovered 5 minutes. Cover and boil 2 to 5 minutes longer or until crisp-tender; drain. Toss with dressing.
Place beans in serving bowl. Sprinkle with cranberries.
To toast almonds, bake uncovered in ungreased shallow pan in 350° oven about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Or cook in ungreased heavy skillet over medium-low heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently until browning begins, then stirring constantly until golden brown.
If you don't have dried cranberries on hand, sprinkle with sliced toasted almonds or freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
