Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 3/4 pound green beans (3 cups)
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
  • 2 tablespoons dried cranberries

Steps

    Heat water to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Add beans. Heat to boiling. Boil uncovered 5 minutes. Cover and boil 2 to 5 minutes longer or until crisp-tender; drain. Toss with dressing.

    Place beans in serving bowl. Sprinkle with cranberries.

    To toast almonds, bake uncovered in ungreased shallow pan in 350° oven about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Or cook in ungreased heavy skillet over medium-low heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently until browning begins, then stirring constantly until golden brown.
